Some trivia I found on the net.
An average worker bee makes only about ½ to 1 teaspoon of honey in its lifetime. At the peak of the honey-gathering season, a strong, healthy hive will have a population of approximately 50,000 bees. It would take approximately 28g of honey to fuel a bee’s flight around the world.
There’s 12 kg of it in this beer, so that’s a lot of bees. Fortunately they work for very small wages. The one on our pump clip is obviously quite well off as he could afford to buy a hat.
