Cavers – Tim and Sooty

 

More and more rain fell…..

 

Tony was call to India (I pity their toilet system!) and George was on yet another trip to Thailand to visit the Ladyboys.

 

So it was left to Tim and Sooty to go caving.

 

A quick breakfast in Inglesport and a reccie into a very very quiet Bernies then onto Bull Pot Farm.

 

We changed in the farm whilst a nice Chinese girl washed her ropes…(no puns please Sooty!)

 

It was a very wet walk across the moors to find the beck in full flow – the stream was flowing into Wretched Rabbit so we went to Mistral instead.

A nice trip to Red Wall chamber and a squeeze to the other chamber with a dig in it.

On the way back we found “Tony’s hole” and crawled amongst the stals until the passage lost its stals and we lost interest.

Back out and an alternative walk back over the moors for a pint and grub at the Marton Arms.

 

Back in Rochdale we had a quick go on Sooty and Mrs Sooty’s pinball machine.
