I inserted myself in and surprisingly soon was sat in a mini canal. A sideways crawl (feetfirst for 30 foot partial submerged was great – Tony couldn’t believe the description he was getting).

 

Then a tight squeeze into the chamber and a possible way on which was not pushed…

 

Then a return to the main streamway and lots and lots of walking. After a while we hit a low watery section – again Tim went first, emerging in a nice chamber. Tony did the mud slope and vowed to return with a rope for the pitch beyond before he and Tim tried to access the other chamber but got stuck.

 

Then a return, and a pint in the Station Inn with a game of pool. (a historic victory by Sooty & Tony)
